Trip Notes
Washington has a climate that can be cold in the winter with some snow. Therefore outside of warmer months from April to September you need to be prepared for possibly a colder climate.
Generally Washington is no colder than the surrounding states of Boston or New York at the same time of year.
Having a hoodie or jacket that can be used as an extra layer when needed and can be removed if temperatures are warmer than expected is advisable.
